Composer,arranger,bass player and singer. Musician of various background (Brasil,Angola,Mozambique,Portugal),his style fusion all this influences what makes different experiences around Jazz fusion,bossa-jazz,jazz-pop wich he presents in several projects.
In love with the electric bass since his childhood in Mozambique, he discovered the rhythm and percussion from southeast Africa. Professional since 1985 mainly playing Funk and fusion what made him discover Jazz,music-hall,cabaret,big-bands and ethno-fusion.
As a composer,his both classical and modern education,gaves him a coloured style of nowadays with flavours from the past.
With some recorded releases he also visited festivals and international booking events.


About the concert

Herbert de Miranda offers a selection of original songs and special covers recreated in bossa/funk and jazz-pop.
Rythm and colours brought from the african roots through the Atlantic expansion with a presence of brasilian beats.
Geting away of all that is standard it creates a complete complicity with the musicians on a free speech of unforgetable moments of improvisation.
