Biography   Press Release (The Idea) THE IDEA is the musical project of ,one Mitch Salisbury. Born in a barn back in 2006, ALTER EGO REHABILITATION CENTRE is the first L.P, recorded entirely on 8 & 12 track with the guidance of "less is more" guru, producer FRAN ASHCROFT. From the Buzzcockian "Sentimental" to the pastoral psychedelia of "Away Day" and Barrett-esque, Brit Pop, blur of "Peter The Frog", the songs stick to you teeth like Blackpool rock.In a nice way, of course. Single "Suck" was released in the fall of 2007 and orbited the outer reaches of the download chart along with Mitch's solo single-"Blue". Now relocated to Hollywood, California THE IDEA are working on the new album in early 2008 and concentrating on dates in Southern California before heading out on the road. Album track "Stop" recently featured on Jetspeed Records compilation "Shuffle".
