There's a candle in the window, for me to find my way home
An old place I remember, that I knew so long ago.
I walked around this old house, so many a times before,
There was always something, I never made it thru those doors.
They say faith can move a mountain,
but all I do is stumble and fall...
But if we walk the straight and narrow, we're provided for it all. Oh these potholes get deeper, in this road that I have paved, But I can rest my weary soul, in this place,
A seat is always saved....saved, Always saved. It's always saved
Seems the grass so much greener, thru this fence on the other side;the boxwood shades the mason, as the steeple reaches high
Souls are set to freedom, as the sing Amazing Grace
New Life await a sinner, it's up to them to claim their place
They say faith can move a mountain,
but all I do is stumble and fall...
But if we walk the straight and narrow, we're provided for it all. Oh these potholes get deeper, in this road that I have paved, But I can rest my weary soul, in this place,
A seat is always saved....saved, Always saved. Always saved...It's always saved.
There's a candle in the window for me to find my way home.
